About Mahatma Jyoti Rao Phoole University

Mahatma Jyoti Rao Phoole University (MJRP) was established in 2009 with a mission to impart quality education to the students by providing not only academic knowledge but also train them technically. The University has derived its name from memory of Mahatma Jyoti Rao Phoole( a social reformer who worked for the liberation of women). Situated in the city of Jaipur, the University is approved by many government organizations like AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education), NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education) and University Grants Commission (UGC). Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and Bar Council of India (BCI) had also approved MJRP, Jaipur. MJRP, Jaipur has collaborated with Macmillan Research Group, the UK for providing students with international scholarship opportunities & co-publication.

Mahatma Jyoti Rao Phoole University was started with a small college in Arts which was then followed by MJRP College of Education, Ambassy Millennium Senior Secondary School, Human Resource College of Veterinary Science, MJRP College of Corporate Management, Ambassy School of Nursing, MJRP College of Corporate Management. The University provides education in many departments including Fashion Designing, Education, Health Care Science, Agriculture, Home Science, Management, Information technology, Arts, Science and Commerce, Architecture and Engineering. Besides enrolling students for many courses available in all departments, the University is well-known for its MBA Agribusiness, B. Tech., LLM, LLB, B. Sc. Honors Agriculture, M. Sc. Agriculture Science & Technology, Bio-Technology / Biotech, and other fashion Designing Programs. Mahatma Jyoti Rao Phoole University became the first University in the state of Rajasthan which is recognized by Department of Scientific & Industrial Research (DSIR) as Scientific Industrial Research Organization (SIROs).

Faculties at Mahatma Jyoti Rao Phoole University, Jaipur(Rajasthan) are highly qualified professionals and well trained in their specialized areas. The campus of the college is sprawl over 100 acre of land at Jaipur-Delhi highway. The campus is installed with many modern laboratories and workshops. Students at MJRP are taught with new methods of teaching and learning which results in the integral development of personality. The University focuses on growing more interaction between students and faculties through discussions, Class Lectures, and classroom participation. Hostels at Mahatma Jyoti Rao Phoole University, Jaipur allows the students coming from far distance resides at the campus. Ltd., Mumbai, Ranbaxy, Mumbai, HCL Tech., Wipro, Kalindi Fashion & Craft, Jaipur e.t.c. Educational tours & excursions are arranged for the students to enhance the knowledge as well as recreation. Seminars, debates, presentations including guest lectures by experts are arranged by the placement cell of the University. Regular update is provided to the students about potential job opportunities and then they are prepared according to the requirements of industries.

The college is good if you want to pursue psychology but please know beforehand that there are actually no classrooms. We are basically doing all the classes in the lab room (MJRP University - Sodala branch as psychology department isn't available there in the main Kukas/Achrol branch). This sodala branch is very small in size though with very basic infrastructure.
